There’s a monkey on your back — and he’s made of duct tape, torn headlines, and leftover attitude from last night’s dive bar gig.

Meet Ransom Ape, the newest addition to the Elevator Primates merch line-up.

We’re not into fast fashion. We’re into loud fashion — the kind that gets you side-eyed at cafes and complimented at warehouse parties. And this tee? It’s a full-blown statement.

The Design

The Ransom Ape tee is built like one of our songs — scrappy, chaotic, and cut together with love and disorder. The design features a hand-crafted collage-style chimp, pieced together from ripped newspapers, sketchy tape, and back-of-the-bus drawings. He’s equal parts protest poster and punk flyer. He doesn’t ask for your attention — he demands it.

We wanted something that looked like it was thrown together at 2AM under a single lightbulb… because that’s pretty much what happened.

The Look

In our latest shoot, we paired the Ransom Ape tee with our staple Elevator Primates cap — a classic black snapback that tops off the look with solid front-row-at-the-show energy. You’ll spot the logo, but you’ll feel the attitude. Whether you’re heading to a gig, rehearsing in a garage, or just trying to not get kicked out of the local servo, this fit has you covered.

Why It Matters

We’re an indie band from Australia making punk music for people who feel like they don’t fit cleanly into boxes. Our sound is inspired by legends like Blink-182, Sum 41, SR-71, and all the messy, melodic mayhem that made you fall in love with pop-punk in the first place.

Our merch isn’t a cash grab — it’s part of our identity. A wearable extension of the chaos we bring on stage and in the studio. Every design we release is meant to start a conversation, or at least turn a few heads.
